The ISEC - ADE project was featured at the 52nd Pan-European Conference on Digital Education, held on 25th July 2024. The conference is a free-of-charge monthly event by Erasmus+ courses by Primera, followed by hundreds of teachers across Europe. It provided a unique platform for educators, researchers, and digital education enthusiasts to explore the latest advancements in digital learning technologies.
The presentation entitled Accessible Digital Education for Learners with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities: Introduction to TeachSpace and TeachHub was delivered by Ivana Vasilevska Petrovska from the Autism Institute, to an audience of over 300 teachers across the EU. Ivana's insightful presentation provided an overview of the project's background, underscoring the crucial needs and challenges it seeks to address within the realm of special and inclusive education. She elaborated on the reasons behind the project's inception, emphasizing the importance of creating educational tools that cater to diverse learning needs and bridge the gap between traditional and digital learning methodologies.
The core of Ivana's presentation focused on the tangible outcomes and tools developed under the ISEC - ADE project. She introduced the Teach Space tool, a versatile web platform designed to foster innovative interactive teaching practices tailored to learners' individual needs. Additionally, she highlighted the Teach Hub a collaborative and community-building tool that facilitates engagement and knowledge sharing among educators. These tools represent a significant advancement in the project’s mission to provide accessible and inclusive education through digital means.
